At Belle Haven Animal Medical Centre, we are dedicated to providing our patients with the most comprehensive, knowledgeable, and compassionate care possible. Established in 2000, our staff has many years of combined veterinary experience serving all of Alexandria and the Washington metropolitan region.
Our Mission
Belle Haven offers high-tech medical and surgical care with a family type atmosphere. The facility is a 6,000 square foot small animal hospital. And, as the name implies, it is a 'safe haven' for your pet. The hospital is built around a nautical theme including a large porch, a pond in the front yard and a wetland preserve on the site. The hospital was a blueprint for hospitals in the new millennium boasting laser surgery, ultrasound, a dental suite, intensive care, laboratory, digital medical hookups to specialists, digital radiography, laser treatment therapy, endoscopy, dog runs with flushing drains, and extremely comfortable surroundings for our clients, patients and staff. A complete fire prevention sprinkler system is included in the building. This sprinkler system provides extra fire protection for pets that are hospitalized or boarding.
